Why meditate?
We often wait for the outside to become easier: less traffic, fewer deadlines, fewer worries, fewer demands. Meditation turns the question around.
“Can I stay centred even when life around me is moving?”
That is the possibility we explore — not becoming disconnected from life, but becoming more available for it.
Musings from A Musing Mind

Sudarshan Kriya®
Breath-based practices are increasingly being studied using modern research methods. Here are a few findings specifically involving Sudarshan Kriya Yoga (SKY).
A 2024 randomized clinical trial compared SKY with stress-management education. The SKY group showed statistically significant improvements across several measures of psychological distress and physician wellness.
Read the study on PubMed ↗A randomized field experiment in an Indian manufacturing organization reported reductions in stress and anxiety alongside improvements in multiple measures of well-being after a SKY intervention.
Read the study on PubMed ↗In an active-comparison randomized trial, SKY participants showed greater improvements than the comparison program on several self-reported well-being measures, with follow-up at three months.
Read the study on PubMed ↗Research is evolving and individual experiences vary. Meditation and breathing practices support well-being; they are not substitutes for professional medical or mental-health care.
